Lightning in the Sky: Poetry for a Dark Age

SECOND CHANCE

We may laugh
At the surroundings
But if they surround
Do not they also entrap
And if they belong
To someone else
Then what are we
Doing here

Is it so difficult
To know where
We should be
Is it wrong
Of us to ask
For a
Second chance
